We are presented with a singular cis het model of romance through our media but this isn’t an accurate representation of people’s relationships. It feels empowering to reclaim, customize, or even completely disregard models of romance to forge uniquely meaningful relationships. I’ve been watching Wanderlust on Netflix which explores an open marriage. Although the show is still very flawed it feels refreshing to watch different portrayals of relationship styles and I hope we continue to see more. ❤️💃🏻❤️💃🏻
